Todd and Donette spent the month of October 2022 exploring the rock climbing possibilities of Tanzania in eastern Africa. While planning the trip, they connected with Mika Peterson, a Tanzanian who owns a safari company and is a climber. The trio subsequently spent weeks driving around the northern part of the country locating and climbing on various cliffs. Numerous new routes were done at places such as Themi Falls, Ngaresero Canyon, Sanjan Canyon and Irente View.

Following the climbing, Donette and Todd did a short safari at Tarangire National Park, where they saw lots of wildlife. A short visit was also made to Zanzibar, where they explored the World Heritage Site of Stonetown.
