Sweden, Finland and Estonia – September 2024

Donette and Todd spent the later part of September, 2024 in the Baltic region. They flew to Stockholm, Sweden and rented a car. Around Stockholm they climbed with Swedish friends, went to the Vasa Museum and to the Skansen outdoor museum.

The couple then took a ferry to Turku, Finland. They visited the World Heritage Sites of Rauma and Sammallahdenmaki before heading to Helsinki. A day of cragging outside of the city was followed by a day of sightseeing, to include Suomenlinna, another World Heritage Site.

Another ferry was then taken to Tallinn, Estonia. Exploring the World Heritage Site city and locating and climbing at a couple Estonian crags were the highlights.

Finally, ferries were taken back to Stockholm for a final day in the old portion of the city before the flights home.
